When everyone goes ballistic about the "LEFT WING" or the "RIGHT WING" I have to laugh because really there is no difference. The are truly the same, just on different sides of the spectrum.
Luckily for most of us both groups are so small, they really can not wield any sigificant power, although when you hear them being talked about you would never realize it.
Whats funny, is when I start thinking about politics I envision a ROAST CHICKEN of all things. It sits there on a platter staring up at me and as I look down this is what I see.
There is a LEFT WING and a RIGHT WING hanging loosely on the bird. Not solidly attached but just hanging on. Now I know some people like these wings and perfect they can be tasty but the truth is, there is no real substance to them and if you eat just them, you will still be hungry.
Then as you look at the "bird" you notice that after the "WINGS" are gone, you have a wonderful bird, rich, plump and full of pleasure. You find as you dine it that the meat is better, juicier and more fulfilling then just the wings. There is substance there and it can quench your desire for food and satisfy you, unlike the wings.
Next time you are eating a chicken OR posting about something, just ask yourself "AM I A WING"??
